Androcles and the Lion
A stage-wide riser w/ sockets in which to place scene elements on poles (e.g., sun, moon, cave, amphitheatre).
And Then There Were None
Heavy oak fireplace, massive pillars, large balcony windows create a mystery mood.
Anne of Green Gables
A unit set. Interchangeable panels slide into flat frames to change scenes.
Arsenic and Old Lace
Provides a double entrance door, a dramatic stairway for Teddy’s charge, and a practical window seat for the bodies. The cellar door is adapted so no stage-floor openings are required.
An easy-to-build design. Simple box set with 4 entrances.
Barefoot in the Park
From run-down to chic apartment, the transformation takes place on elevated platforms for the bath-bedroom. Includes skylight & backdrop.
Combines an imposing fireplace bracketed by cornice-height inset bookshelves. Very formal with paneling wainscoting and French doors.
Brighton Beach Memoirs
Done by adapting “The Miracle Worker.”
Each act is comprised of simple flat units that move easily. Simple period décor.
Cheaper By the Dozen
Leaded glass windows and formal “glass”-shrouded entranceway help identify the period. Includes an imposing double archway and stairway. Double window looks out on bushes in the yard.
A Christmas Carol
Elaborate Victorian attic sets the mood for the play within the play. (This is the Paller adaptation from Samuel French, Inc.)
Come Blow Your Horn
Uses “Odd Couple.”
Crimes of the Heart
Kitchen design prints include working and usable cabinets, drawers, etc.
Rotating platform units are used for all the scenes.
A bay window framed by bookcases is the focal point. Double entrance doors lead onstage to a warmly decorated room.
Cyrano de Bergerac
Uses Elizabethan set.
Same as “The Mousetrap.”
Design for Murder
See “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.”
The Diary of Anne Frank
Impressive and dramatic lines of this set provide mute testimony of the tragedy. Multilevel platforms delineate the acting areas. Skylight plans included.

Another application for “The Mousetrap.”
Don’t Drink the Water
A stately design, including plans for the Great Seal of the U.S. and the Austrian “tile” stove.
Stationary Gothic pillars & arches. “Plugs” shift in & out to change scenes. Provides 3 scenes: a chamber, drawing room/library & coffin room.
The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds
The dingy store window, worn stairs, effectively placed entrances, and sundry nooks & crannies set the mood.
A unit set echoing “The Globe”. It houses levels, an inner stage, balcony, other entrances and plug-in unit featuring a staircase. Includes special drawings for furniture and dressing pieces.
